BITC ISO modules7
Based on the integrated company model (BITC P-CRQ model), the BITC-ISO modules7 are our approach to a quick and efficient implementation of standards in the areas of quality management, risk management and IT. In addition, the model serves to harmonise parallel compliance systems and to save space.
The content modules were developed based on the use of Process4.biz, a modern process and company modelling tool based on Microsoft technology. Visio is used as the graphic user interface, extended by a database function, an authorisation system and a number of functions to manage the complex Visio documentation. This makes it possible to directly use the primary Visio documentation of a company (flow charts, organigrams, IT diagrams, etc.) for company modelling without the need for a media conversion. This allows live management systems to be realised, which can be updated and further developed with a minimum of maintenance expenditure.
Based on a structured list of the requirements contained in the norm, the modules contain all the elements of a management system required for a successful certification. In order to display and check compliance, the norm requirements are linked to these elements of the management system, which meet this requirement. As a result, weaknesses (i.e. requirements without a link) can be easily identified and rectified. Compliance documents can be largely created automatically.
The current content modules comprise the following areas:
- ISO 9001 or ISO 13485
- ITIL or ISO 20000
- ISO 27000
More modules are being developed.
